Coming into town
Shanksville is about six blocks long and two blocks wide. There are no traffic lights. There’s a little country store for essentials, but no gas station, so fill up before you get here.
Don’t miss Snida’s Corner Store. They have great made-to-order options for lunch and dinner, too.

The Park Service suggests two to three hours. Start at the Visitor Center, then allow time for the Memorial Plaza, Wall of Names, and Tower of Voices.

Somerset is one place to look for a room, with hotels near Turnpike Exit 110. The memorial entrance is roughly 15 miles from central Somerset, depending on your route. Check the drive to the entrance before booking.
